But- yeah. Just a few nice days of vacation, as though the Galaxy wasn't about to get invaded. Makes me wish we did remember things when we went back. Maybe I could have warned somebody.
Then again, you've been doing that for years. It's not easy getting someone to listen, is it?

[And meanwhile Jacob is mildly guilty that he hasn't shared the same nightmare at the rest of the crew yet, that he hasn't stood shoulder-to-shoulder with them in the coming war. He knows he will, but predictions and experience are two different things.]
It's not the Med, that's for sure. But I won't complain. I'm headed back to Virginia soon, anyway. Hopefully nobody burned down my workplace while I was out.

It was weird. I didn't remember anything about this place. The last year, everything we've been through- it's like it all never happened.
