[ It was one hell of a vacation, all right. Especially considering he'd ended up back at the precinct a day early, and in a bad mood. Luckily, he hasn't been pulled off the force, but the treatment they've received has certainly left him considering it.
The odd hours he keeps means the response comes back swiftly, just as deliberately vague. With Shepard giving the government plenty of reason to feel less than kindly inclined towards him, the caution is warranted. ]
